Residential Cleaning Services are the worst business idea for 2024, if don't acquire the right marketing skills to compete with those cheap guys, like home glow, care services, etc.

House cleaning service is a business you should not start in 2024. And I'm going to tell you why later.

It's getting harder to get clients and most homeowners are looking for the cheapest way, the cheapest company right now.

With the rise of homeglow, Care services, and a lot of other companies that are offering their cleaning for $19 you won't stand a chance.

You can't win with those companies because they are big companies, they have big advertising budgets, they have a lot of money to spend, they have a lot of money to invest. You won't be able to compete with them.

If you're not an expert in marketing, if you don't have the right skills, if you don't know how to sell, you don't have tools, you won't be able to win because those people, they have a lot of money and they have like big lawyers as well.

Most homeowners don't know what they get into, and they don't know what risk they are taking, like most of our clients, they have high-end equipment in their house, even if they never cook.

They never do anything with them, but they have expensive fridges, expensive ovens, and microwaves in their houses.

If you have a cleaning business you will try to compete with care services and homeglow you fail before you start. If you don't know what is care services, it's a website where you can go and hire nannies, so you can hire a cleaner, you can hire nannies people, babysitters, all those things.

There was one of them who called me the other day and well, not the company, a lady called me and I didn't even know the name she told me, and she told me she hired somebody to come and clean he house. They charged her twice, two times and no one showed up. She cannot find their customer service.

So these big companies, have a lot of money, they are well protected, and they hire contractors. They don't have employees, they are not like me, I have met most of my customers, they know me and I know them, they have my phone numbers.

Those people they hire, those ladies, they don't have insurance. Either way for 19 dollars somebody working. There's no way that person can have insurance. There's no way that person can have any form of protection and if something happened in the house, the homeowner is in charge of everything because you cannot sue them.

Some of my customers, they have like stove, oven, microwave that cost a lot of money. And if someone scratches them, if someone uses a bad chemical and then destroys the finish, they will end up with a damaged appliance.

The risk of starting a residential cleaning business in 2024

If you don't know how to advertise yourself, sell yourself in a way that makes the customer comfortable working with you. You will fail

Because don't get me wrong, there's no way you can charge $20 to clean a house. It's impossible because the products that you are using to clean the house only is worth more than $20, even if you go to Walmart or Dollar Tree self, right, it's gonna cost you more than that.

The equipment you will need to use costs a lot of money. So, this is why I say Residential Cleaning Services is the worst business idea for 2024. But if it's something you want to do and you are passionate about, you still can get some good customers, high-end customers.

Some people have million-dollar houses, and then they don't want someone to come with no experience with nothing to mess up their thing. They don't want that, so they would wanna pay a little higher and get someone a professional to clean for them.

So if you still want to join my challenge, because if you want to start a business, whatever business it is, this challenge will help you. The way advertisement used to be before COVID has changed.

Now everything changed, and AI almost does everything that people used to do, and customers now want to see your face, they want to see you, they want to interact with you, they want to know who you are.

One of my customers told me one day before she hired my company. She doesn't hire me because she does not let strangers in her house.

I went like, oh, that's cool. Let's schedule an appointment, and then I can introduce myself, we can talk, and then that way we can work. And that customer, I've been working with her for a long time now, and she refers me to her friends and other people to work.

So this is how it is. People want to see you, because, AI(Artificial Interlingent) can do most of the things that people used to do, AI can do all of them. Like write ads, video ad even create contents.

So if you don't know how to make videos, if you don't know how to sell yourself on the internet, will be hard to grow your business.

And this is why I started this challenge,  anyway the challenge is for me, not for anybody else.

Because I wanna get better. And the only way I can get better is by doing, even if you get the best coaching the only way you can get better is by doing the thing.

Even with your most expensive coaching, you work with the most expensive coach, you go to the most expensive college, and you have the high end college education. If you don't practice what you've learned, you will never get good at it.
